Privacy Policy for Zippyly
Last Updated: June 17, 2026
Developer: Antilver
App: Zippyly (ride & delivery)
1. Overview
Zippyly is a ride-hailing and delivery platform developed by Antilver. The app connects
riders (people booking rides or deliveries), captains
(drivers/delivery partners who fulfil them), and retailers (merchants who
send deliveries). We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses Zippyly.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored and
shared, and the rights you have over your information. By using Zippyly you agree to the
practices described here.
Zippyly is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it promptly.
2. Data We Collect
The data we collect depends on whether you use Zippyly as a rider, a captain, or a retailer.
Account & identity
- Mobile number — used to create your account and verify you via a one-time
password (OTP) through Firebase Authentication. This is our primary account identifier.
- Name and profile details you provide (and an optional profile photo).
- Role — whether you operate as a rider, captain, or retailer.
Location
- Riders: precise (GPS) location while the app is in use, to set your pickup
point, find nearby captains, show fare estimates, and let you track your trip.
- Captains: precise location while you are online/available and during active
trips. To match you with nearby ride requests and let riders track the vehicle, location may
be collected in the background (while the app is minimised) for the duration
you remain online. You can stop this at any time by going offline or closing the app.
Captain & retailer verification (KYC)
- Identity and eligibility documents required to operate on the platform — for example
government ID, driving licence, vehicle registration/details, and (for retailers) business
details. These are collected only from captains and retailers, for verification, safety,
and compliance.
Trip, delivery & usage data
- Pickup and drop-off locations, routes taken, distance, fare/estimate, timestamps, ride and
delivery history, and ratings or feedback you give or receive.
Device & technical data
- A push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to deliver ride/delivery and
account notifications.
- Basic device and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, app version, IP address,
and crash/error logs) used to operate and improve the service.
Payments
Online payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway; cash payment may also be
available for some trips. Card, UPI, and bank details you enter for payment are collected and
handled directly by the payment gateway — Zippyly does not store full card
numbers, UPI credentials, or bank details. We retain only transaction records (such as amount,
date, and status) needed to complete a trip, resolve disputes, and meet legal/tax obligations.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Create and secure your account and verify your identity.
- Match riders with nearby captains and enable navigation, tracking, and delivery.
- Calculate fares, process trips, and maintain ride/delivery history.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Maintain safety, prevent fraud and misuse, and enforce our terms (including blacklisting
users who violate them — see Section 8).
- Send service notifications and operate, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
- Comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
4. Location Data
Location is essential to a ride and delivery service. We request location permission and, for
captains, may request background-location permission. We use location only to deliver the
features described above. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings,
but core features (booking, matching, navigation, tracking) will not work without it.
5. How We Share Data
To operate the service, limited information is shared between participants in a trip:
- Riders and captains see information needed to complete the trip — for
example the other party's first name, real-time location during the trip, vehicle details,
and a means to contact each other to coordinate pickup/delivery.
- Retailers and the assigned captain see the delivery details required to
fulfil an order.
We also share data with:
- Service providers that power the app (see Section 9) — e.g. Google Firebase
and Google Maps Platform.
- Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our terms,
or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users and the public.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Firebase Services
- Firebase Authentication (phone-number OTP login)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)
See Google's handling of this data:
Firebase Privacy.
7. Maps & Navigation
Zippyly uses the Google Maps Platform (Maps, Places, and Directions) to display maps, suggest
addresses, and compute routes. Your use of these features is also subject to Google's
Privacy Policy and the
Google Maps/Google Earth Terms.
8. Data Storage & Security
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Account and trip data stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in India
(Mumbai region) and on Google Firebase infrastructure.
- Access controls so data is available only to authorised systems and personnel.
- We do not sell personal data.
International data transfer: if you use Zippyly from outside India, your
information may be transferred to and stored on the servers described above. Where personal data
is transferred across borders, it is safeguarded under the data-processing terms of our providers.
9. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide
the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see the
Delete your account page. Once a deletion request is verified,
personal data is removed within 30 days.
Safety & fraud-prevention exception. Even after deletion, we may retain a
limited, minimised set of information where this is necessary to comply with the law (for example
tax/transaction records), to resolve disputes, or to prevent fraud and protect the safety of the
platform. In particular, if an account has been blacklisted for fraud, safety, or terms
violations, we may retain a non-reversible identifier (such as a hashed mobile number and/or
hashed identity-document reference) so the same person cannot evade the restriction by deleting
and re-creating an account. This retained data is kept only for these limited purposes and is not
used to contact you or for marketing.
10. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion (subject to Section 9)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these, contact us at
support@antilver.com.
11. Children's Privacy
Zippyly is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has
provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase (authentication and notifications)
- Google Maps Platform (maps, places, directions)
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and data storage)
- Third-party payment providers (where online payment is offered)
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the latest
revision, and continued use of Zippyly after an update implies acceptance.
